FLAMINGO FESTIVAL 2011: International Festival of New Music
| Dear Colleagues and Friends During of June and July celebrate in South-Florida, USA , the second edition dell FLAMINGO International New Music Festival. Continuing the tradition and consistent with the success of the FLAMINGO 2010, FLAMINGO 2011 includes concerts for chamber music, orchestral and chamber music. There will also be the Opportunity to present some electroacoustic and acousmatic work as well as sound installations. Venezuelan and Latin American composers interested in participating can submit works in PDF format for your consideration. Please find attached details: - Chamber Orchestra Works Instrumentation: Timber: 1 flauta, 1 oboe, 1 Clarinete, 1 Fagote, Metales: 1 Corno Frances, 1 Trompeta, 1 Trombon Piano o celesta Quinteto de cuerdas: violin 1 , violin 2, viola, cello , bass Chamber Works, Instrumentation to consider: -String Quartets , -String Quintets In addition to the above we are coordinating a concert for the bicentennial anniversary Independence of Venezuela. This event will be included in the programming of the FLAMINGO. For this concert, the works will be considered parts: -piano solo, -cello solo and -piano and cello duo . Flamingo For 2011, the Latin music industry collaboration we My esteemed colleague songwriter Diana Arismendi. She is the initiator of the Bicentenary of the Independence project in Venezuela. We are very proud to have solidarity and experience. She acts as a liaison and coordinator for the Flamingo Festival in Latin America in the field of chamber music, soloists and orchestra.
