A few hours after Acadñemicas closed previous Workshops, Race Composition of the National Music Conservatory under the direction of the composer Ricardo Tello Monteros, is pleased to invite composers and performers from Ecuador and Latin America to participate in the advanced course in musical composition, belonging to the project GERMINA.CCIONES. Latin American spring, led by the Italian composer Luca Belcastro Master, who since 2008 has been carrying out these activities in countries of Central and South America, and counting multiple visits to countries such as Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, El Salvador, Guatemala, Cuba, Mexico and now this mega project in addition to Ecuador, from the National Music Conservatory.
We currently have over 25 active participants, with attendees from various corners of Ecuador and neighboring countries.
The scores resulting from this meeting will be presented ensembles in concert with partners in September 2011, together with other countries, with the idea for the future to realize the taxation of a CD with the works, lifting scores and documenting all the work done by Master Belcastro to to our country and the work that comes from his visit.
The advanced course in musical composition will take place from 2 to 6 May, hours from 10h00 to 14h00 and from 15h00 to 19h00 in the Auditorium Luciano CSNM Race.
In this way we join this growing community of hundreds of American composers and numerous concerts in many different formats, solo instruments, duos, quartets, quintets, ensembles of different composition, string orchestras, symphonic bands, percussion ensembles, choral groups, instrumental, jazz bands, big band, etc.

Luca Belcastro was born in Como - Italy (September 18, 1964). He graduated in classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi" of Milan and in composition, with the highest score at the Conservatory of Music "G. Nicolini " Piacenza. He studied with Giuseppe Colardo, Sonia Bo and Azio Corghi, who attended specialized courses in composition at the Accademia "Goffredo Petrassi" of Parma and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia of Rome, where he graduated with top marks and "Premio SIAE.
