"Five hours with Mario"

MANY HOURS WITH NATALIE

Author: Miguel Delibes (novel). Adaptation M. Delibes, Josefina Molina, Jose Samano . Address: J. Molina. Starring: Natalia Millán, Víctor Elías. Teatro Reina Victoria. Madrid, 19-I-2010.

Natalia Millán deserves many more than five hours of success. Input, for daring to ride the long shadow of a cypress as Lola Herrera-all image in the collective subconscious, with that "Five hours with Mario" , totem of the scene show English in recent decades. And then, do it with dedication and talent that would overwhelm anyone who has just for musical actress. Is that, yes, and more. The star of "Cabaret" and "Chicago" has been growing in recent years, seasoned in Shakespeare and Calderon, up to this intense tragicomic monologue that, seen now, it seems designed for it.

Carmen Sotillo is the work of Miguel Delibes in all their flawed humanity, and Natalia Millán Carmen Sotillo is a display of freshness and an array of naturalness that makes us travel to Spain in the 60 refused to look ahead, red in the recent widow who launches a tirade of misunderstanding against her husband, the body present: large text, pure popular speech, a giant sadly died recently.

A Delibes, who enjoyed that assembly of Josefina Molina and Jose Samano, certainly would have liked this review in which novelty is a powerful Carmen, carnal and neorealist adorably obnoxious, which rounds for two hours a luminous actress is here to stay.
